The bar scanner sometimes works. When it scans it either scans with 2 different title books and auto adds them and I have to go in and delete one of them. Most the time I had to manually type in the ISBN. And there is no way to separate CDs, and movies to another list. So I'm deleting the app and use spreadsheets. I was hoping to be able to separate my collections.

I'd loaded my books several years back, but never kept up with it and later couldn't remember why. Recently tried libib and thought I'd give this another try for comparison sake. The navigation between screens is painful. If I open a book's info to edit it & save the changes, it just reloads that edit screen and there is no way to get out of it again. And I guess there is just no way to do certain things within the app like creating collections? Too frustrating. I'd rather start over elsewhere.

This app is no frills but no ads. The book scanning feature is fantastic and easily the best part. You scan the barcode and it checks a couple of registries for a match. I do wish you could turn off the sound effect when it scans. I wish it was better at handling anthologies. It generally gives you one author and you'll have to add the rest yourself. It has a great interface fire that, but I'd rather not have to. Not sure why the ability to choose an alt cover recently vanished.
