LibraryThing itself is great, but the app is full of bugs. Scanning books almost always results in either a duplicate scan of the book, or getting a single of scanned book plus the addition of a completely unrelated book. Trying to delete a book causes the program to crash every time, and trying to edit and save crashes sometimes.

It functions and I can add books. But I would say maybe 10% of the books I add double-scan in a weird way that causes a second (completely different) book to be added to my library. This wouldn't be as much of a problem if it weren't for the fact that deleting a book from your library totally crashes the app. Sometimes, after scanning in several more books, you can get it to delete, but it does crash 100% of the time.

The desktop site is phenomenal but the app is atrocious. It crashes every time I remove a book from the library, double scans almost everything, and when searching for books the thumbnails never display. I have to go back into my library to see if the right edition was added. It's a shame, I like LT more than its competitors, but the app seems all but abandoned.
