The LibraryThing app allows LibraryThing members to catalog and browse their collections. LibraryThing is focused on books, but you can add most media, including books, DVDs and CDs. LibraryThing relies on data from Amazon, and over 65 million library records.

Add books by searching for them or scanning their ISBN barcode with the camera.

Found this app and it sounded perfect for me. But after I downloaded it and tried adding items I hit snags. first off the scanning of bar codes is a great feature accept it doesnt put the picture on it. I tried adding a Pic myself but it doesnt show it. I tried typing name and searching for it. Found it with a pic and added it. but that takes longer then scanning barcodes and I have way too many to put in. also when I tried to delete the scanned one with no pic, the app crashes. it crashes alot.

Could be better...works for what I need though The app will crash/close when you try to delete duplicates or mis-read additions from your library. That said, I logged into the website to remove it without issue. It's also easier to use the website to add items where the scanner doesn't read teh ISBN or if your ISBN info is messed up/covered with a sticker on the cover. So the APP needs to be more stable and not crash. Please change where the scanner window is to the top of my screen. Thnx!

The app is well designed; however, it crashes too frequently. Some scans incorrectly add the wrong book, and when I attempt to correct this by deleting the entry, the app crashes. After reopening the app, the book remains, and attempting to delete it again results in another crash. This cycle repeats. Aside from the frequent crashes, I do like the app overall.
