Just got the Zipp Mini and installed the app. Doesn't work and so speaker is unusable. It forces you to go to the bluetooth config for your phone and connect to the device. Then it says you have to return back to the Libratone app to continue. Two problems with this: 1. If you're already connected, it doesn't detect this and still requires you to go to the BT config to "connect" 2. There is no way to go back to the Libratone app. Android considers you still "in" the app when it takes you to the BT page. Clicking back, which ought to return you to the app, does not return you to the app. It takes you to your home screen. Every time you go back to the app, it forces you to go back to the BT config page to "connect" to the speaker even if you're already connected. App just sits there saying "no product found" no matter what I do. My phone is connected to the speaker, and it was in the left-right flashing lights pairing mode. It even made a "connected" sound on the speaker when I connected. Still, app says no product found. Phone and app are four inches from each other, so it's not a problem of distance. Phone is a Google Pixel XL, so it's a year old and with latest Android.
Have to reset 1000$ worth of speakers daily. Recommend Sonos
Internet radio is not working after updated app. I did factory reset. But it still facing issue.
A fantastic sounding speaker with great features, especially the Wireless Streaming (which i use 100% of the time even though I bought it as a Bluetooth speaker). Having demo'd this against 10 to15 other Bluetooth speakers at John Lewis and PC World, to my ears this sounds best. With Spotify Connect and Internet Radio and Favourites, it's excellent, but 5 presets are NOT enough if you want Spotify Playlists as well as Radio Stations. I hope that the 'Collections' feature mentioned elsewhere appears soon and addresses this problem. The App is awful, though, it needs starting again
App does not work so there dore the speaker is useless!!!! Good customer service but the problem is the app and the product. Totally useless, waste of time and money!
I have the classic zipp model where you can only connect through wifi and I go through all the steps on the app but it doesnt register the product at the end and says there are no products in your surroundings, i already bought a new bose speaker and this was a complete waist of money.
