The apps is monitoring all lightning activity which are happening in specifically for all india.
and alert you if lightning is happening near you by GPS notification. under 20KM and 40KM.

Details description of instruction, precautions is provided in apps while in lightning prone area. Does and Don't for in specific situation is strictly followed when lightning happen near you for your safety purpose.

Its literally been half hour of thunderstorm around me as i type this, Still the app showing theres no lightning in your area after opening and restarting app multiple times , but still showing that its clear weather on over 40km radius. One thing the app is supposed to do in its core. It failed. Please update these flaws. This wasnt a one time error. Happened numerous time. But it works some times very accurately. If its this unreliable to accurately update, there is no need for this app.

This is very good. But when there are too many indicators on the map, the app becomes too slow to browse. I am pretty sure this is because the icon you are using to indicate is too heavy to load when there are hundreds of these on the screen. You should be able to fix this by using a symbol that is very little in dimension and has very low size.

Thanks for the update, we are expecting auto refresh of the map and data atleast for every 2 mins. If notification comes in case of lightning in the user registered location, it will be very useful, because user cannot open the app all time and search for lightning. If web application available it will be useful for emergency operation centres in state and districts
