Lightningrod is a vertical casual puzzle connection mobile game centered on gentle pulsing and spatial planning. Players slide their fingers across grid nodes, connecting same-colored pulsing endpoints end-to-end. Paths can only extend along adjacent nodes, requiring players to avoid occupied routes while leaving room for other colors. Levels progress from simple two-color setups to complex multi-color interweaving; the closer your move count to the optimal solution, the higher the star rating and score. In-game items such as hints, undo, and clear can be used to resolve deadlocks, with items purchasable using coins in the shop.
