The SMART ENERGY SIMULATOR makes energy management clear and easy to understand. This free educational app is designed for guilds, member companies, and training managers within the ZVEH (Central Association of German Electrical and Information Technology Trades) who want to inspire young people at trade fairs or in schools to pursue apprenticeships in the electrical trades.
Using the intuitive user interface, users can experience how a photovoltaic system, energy storage, grid connection, and consumers interact on a 3D model of an energy-efficiently modernized barn. The current self-sufficiency level, energy consumption, and generation are dynamically displayed – ideal for clearly explaining energy efficiency, smart home technology, and active climate protection.
Whether at apprenticeship fairs or during school visits, the app vividly demonstrates the future opportunities offered by the electrical trades. It is also suitable for teachers and anyone interested in gaining a clear understanding of smart building technology and sustainable energy concepts.
Features at a glance:
• 3D visual model of a modernized barn
• Simulation of energy generation and consumption
• Interactive control of devices and weather conditions
• Displays of self-sufficiency, grid connection, and consumption
• Educational tool for recruiting young talent in the electrical trades
The application can be used in conjunction with the ECO SCORE CHALLENGE VR application from the ZVEH Media Working Group. Additional features are available to ZVEH members (integration of event-related content into the app).
Developed by the ZVEH Media Working Group as part of the E-ZUBIS campaign, the SMART ENERGY SIMULATOR supports the recruitment of young talent in the electrical trades and demonstrates how exciting climate protection through technology can be.
