Permissions & transparency 🌟
Salestrail uses only the permissions needed to perform its core automation features. Without these permissions, the app cannot detect or log calls and attach recordings automatically.
Call Information / Call Logs – Used to detect call events (incoming, outgoing, missed) and sync them as call activities.
Contacts – Used to match numbers with names in your CRM or device contacts for accurate reporting.
File Storage/Read Media Files – One of Salestrail's core functionalities is to pick up call recordings from your device and automatically attach them with the data we store, and hence Salestrail needs this permission. Salestrail does not record audio — it only detects and attaches system-generated recordings to the call log. This requires permission to read the recording file created by the device and pick it up automatically. The use case or Salestrail is device automation and hence call recordings needs to be attached automatically.
Notifications and/or Accessibility (if enabled) – Used only to detect WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business call events for tracking; no message or screen content is ever read or stored.
Network Access – Used to securely sync your call data to the cloud dashboard or CRM.
