“Humanity” is a project for constructing a tourist trail on the territory of a cultural heritage site of regional significance
“The remarkable place “Barsova Gora”.

This project, developed by an initiative group of residents of the town of Barsovo and supported by the administration of the Surgut region, became the winner of the Regional Competition of Initiative Projects 2021, conducted by the Department of Public and External Relations of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra. Scientific curator - MAU SR "IKNPTs "Barsova Gora".

The main goal of the “Humanity” project is to popularize the historical and cultural heritage of Barsovaya Gora, on the territory of which an unprecedented number of archaeological monuments have been discovered, documenting all stages of anthropogenesis over 9 thousand years from the Stone Age (Neolithic) to the present.

In 46 locations there are presented: 13 art objects, 9 of which are many times enlarged replicas of finds from the early Iron Age and the Middle Ages, found during scientific archaeological research of Barsovaya Gora.

The use of augmented reality technology in certain locations of the tourist trail will allow you to visualize scenes of everyday life: hunting, making pottery, fishing in the Stone Age, Bronze Age and the Middle Ages in an authentic natural environment.
