About this app

LimnoLog is an application for collecting and analyzing water measurements -
for limnologists, research stations, municipalities monitoring water quality,
and students and researchers conducting field research.

MAIN FEATURES

• Reliable offline-first operation - enter measurements, add photos and
record GPS position in the field, even with no network coverage at all.
Data is saved locally and syncs automatically once the connection returns.

• QR codes and sample labels - scan station and sample QR codes with the
in-app camera to instantly open the right measurement entry.

• Automatically calculated indicators - formulas (e.g. organic nitrogen,
% of guideline) are computed as soon as raw results are entered, including
values that depend on other calculated indicators.

• Equipment quality control (QA/QC) - a probe register with a service log,
Bland-Altman charts and automatic sensor drift risk detection.

• Telemetry and integrated API - combine manual measurements with automatic
readings from sensors and weather stations (ready-made source templates).

• Charts and advanced analysis - time series, correlation matrices, depth
profiles (CTD), process control charts (Shewhart I-MR) with anomaly
highlighting.

• Notifications and reports - push and e-mail alerts when guidelines are
exceeded or a sampling schedule is approaching; ready-made PDF reports
with photos.

• Collaboration and public dashboards - administrator/analyst/technician
roles, change history, session approval; share results with residents or
partners through your own link, no login required.

• Unlimited export and import - XLSX (long/wide format), CSV, PDF - ready
for further analysis in R or STATISTICA; XLSX/CSV/ODS import with
automatic format detection and column mapping.

The application is fully available in Polish, English, German, Spanish,
French, Italian and Portuguese. This is the same platform you know from the
web version (app.limnolog.com), in a native Android shell (QR scanner, GPS,
printing).
