About this app

This calculator was a technical marvel when Hewlett-Packard released it back in 1976. This was a time when most students and engineers used slide rules to calculate logarithms and square roots. This calculator allowed users to do such calculations with the stroke of a key.

In addition, it was programmable and had magnetic card storage before the first personal computers came out. Pretty remarkable!

This faithful re-creation provides both new and old users with a way to re-live those days. It is still a very useful tool. Even more so now as you can print and share programs and also create charts! Plus sounds and animation.

I still have my HP67 that I bought in 1976 on my shelf behind me. It will no longer turn on. This app Mike created a number of years ago is awesome and is super close to my real one. I bought this app years ago and have transferred it to each upgraded phone. The original calculator could only use 224 programming steps but the app one can use 999 steps. I hope to never be without this app.

Very good simulation. I would like to know how can I reuse a card. For example, if I write a program and later I modify it, I don't see a way to use the same card. Apparently I have to label a new one and save the program. It would be nice to reuse the same card so it's not necessary to write the labels again. Thanks.

This is great work. I had one of these in the early 70's and used it as sea for astro navigation calculations. Mine eventually died and it was so pleasing to find it as an app for my phone. Thank you for all the work you put in to create it.
