Tapping or typing tempos, setting noise gate thresholds, fine tuning cabs, adjusting specific EQ, deep effects edits, and importing and exporting presets for back up and sharing: these are all now possible with POD Express Edit.

Pedal is great! The app is useless. says it needs an update when you plug it into the phone, for about one second, and the closes the app. No update is available. I tried uninstall and reinstall but still no luck. Edit: I installed the app on my compter. It made un update to the firmware on the Line6 pod. The app worked OK on my phone after that.

It connects to my android phone and enables me to use guitar in recording apps, something I have been unable to do as an android user. The app provides plenty of customization options and seamlessly interacts with your pedal (mine is the pod express black) when it is connected. One thing that I can't quite work around is the presence of the dry signal mixed in with my selected preset, generally more dominant in the mix, but only when I playback recorded audio. Also, the app frequently crashes.

this app is actually 100% useful. I know you read that on a review and it sets off warning bells, BUT.... it makes actually setting a tone soooo much easier then using the box itself. The box is touchy af. plus they are just tone samples so the sustain is lackluster.... the app has extra effects like a noise gate and sustainer. plus access to 1000's of hand made tones from the POD community. 10-10 must have this app.
