The Ministry of Agriculture is promoting the digital transformation of agriculture and has created a one-stop service platform. Launched on January 2, 2026, the "Agricultural Digital Integration Service" allows farmers to use a mobile app to check their retirement savings contribution data for the past three years, the progress of their children's education grant applications, agricultural natural disaster relief records, and agricultural machinery subsidy records. This eliminates the need for phone inquiries about service progress. Farmers can also apply online for traceability barcodes for agricultural and aquatic products, as well as for local young farmers to join associations, making service applications more convenient. Furthermore, the app allows farmers to activate their personal identification barcodes, eliminating the need to carry identification documents when purchasing pesticides and fertilizers from different stores.
The "Agricultural Digital Integration Service" incorporates diverse digital identity verification mechanisms. Farmers can become general members simply by verifying their identity via SMS, and can access information on agricultural, fishery, and livestock market trends, event announcements, production forecasts, and various agricultural training programs at any time. By completing one of the following identity verification procedures—"ID card number + National Health Insurance card number," "mobile phone number + ID card issuance information verification," or "Citizen Digital Certificate"—farmers can upgrade to advanced members and begin using various agricultural administrative services and personal inquiry services.
Currently, farmers often have to frequently travel between township offices and farmers' associations when applying for crop rotation/fallow, paying grain taxes, or applying for relief, or they need to submit supporting documents repeatedly due to different application channels. To reduce these administrative tasks, the Ministry of Agriculture has built a one-stop digital integrated service through the digitization of administrative services and industry information, making digital tools a handy assistant for farmers.
