About this app

LingoAlarm is an alarm clock that makes a short vocabulary quiz part of waking up.

A few words every morning, before your feet hit the floor. You were going to wake up anyway — now that time quietly turns into a language habit.

HOW IT WORKS

Set a time, pick a language, and choose how many correct answers dismiss the alarm. When it fires, a full-screen wake-up alarm appears. Starting the quiz pauses the sound so you can concentrate; leaving or locking the app before finishing makes the alarm ring again. Wrong answers show you the right answer and add more practice. If enabled, snooze uses the interval selected for that alarm.

SEVEN FREE LEARNING MORNINGS

Try the complete learning experience without a card. At most one completed alarm quiz per device-local date advances your seven learning mornings. Extra alarms that day still include quizzes without advancing the count. After seven unique learning dates, future free alarms use a simple slide to dismiss. Every language and deck stays available, and all past Stats remain readable. No account is required.

Open Words > Practice for an unlimited quiz without an alarm, timer, account or Pro subscription. Choose a short session or keep going until you finish. Correct answers advance automatically. Practice never uses a free learning morning.

FOURTEEN LANGUAGES, EVERY DECK INCLUDED

Start with 100 everyday words in each language's A0 starter course. Continue with Mandarin Chinese (HSK 1-6), Japanese (JLPT N5-N1), Korean (TOPIK 1-6), or CEFR-aligned decks (A1-C1) for English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Hindi, Arabic and Turkish. Choose questions from the language you are learning to your app language, the reverse direction, or a mix.

BRING YOUR OWN WORDS

Paste CSV, tab-separated vocabulary or an Anki text export, or build decks in the app. Mix your words with the built-in levels for alarm quizzes and practice.

NO CHEATING PAST IT

An optional per-alarm Volume Guard maintains maximum output while the alarm is actively ringing, then restores your previous device volume. Screen lock and backup alarms make an unfinished alarm harder to bypass.

YOUR PROGRESS

Streaks, accuracy, weak words and past quiz history stay readable in Stats even after the seven free learning mornings. Optional sign-in lets eligible Pro users sync learning data to a dashboard at lingoalarm.com. Skip sign-in and everything stays on your phone.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT

No ads, tracking, crash reporting or behavioural analytics. Alarms stay on your device. Optional Pro sign-in syncs learning data. RevenueCat processes a pseudonymous subscription identifier and purchase status. Delete your account and synced data inside the app.

LingoAlarm Pro keeps quiz dismissal active in every future alarm after your seven free learning mornings. It does not lock languages, decks, custom lists or past Stats.
