I do not understand the negative experiences so I thought I would share mine. I live in the USA and have gone from complete beginner in German to A2. Lingoda provides the primary structure around which all my other resources and language learning activities revolve. I find the classes very challenging and the instructors both competent and positive. This mobile app's exercises have been an easy way to add additional exposure to the language and I look forward to future features.

It's not worth it, they steal your money. You buy credits and they expire, and you can't end your subscription or you lose access to your already purchased credits, so you have to keep paying them and keep buying credits even if you can't keep up or you lose everything. It's an abhorrent business practice. Avoid at all costs. I feel sick from their theft.

B2 level - Teachers are top notch and lecture slides are well structured. But lingobites could have been better. It feels like they didn't put much effort while creating the exercises. Also, in the vocabulary trainer, there is no way to add the words from the lesson which I don't know. The subscription model requires you to have an active subscription to take classes, which is a good thing for a procrastinator like me, who would have just bought the credits and never used them.
