I have been recommending this app a LOT and am getting compliments from my latino friends. The subscription is worth it because: 4 news articles + cultural lessons + grammar + many Spanish expressions Recent problem that is getting more frequent. 1. Sometimes parts of the written article is cut off, so you can't read along with speaker. 2. Sometimes the translation link doesn't include translation for all the words in the fragment. Overall, a great app, though

Massive battery drain when not in use. Anytime I'm done listening I close out the app and it just continues to suck battery down at a rate of 10% an hour. Uninstall the app battery works fine, use the app again battery disappears. This is when I am not using the app actively but used it earlier in the day. This is a major issue and needs to be fixed for this app to have any real usability. It's a shame because I really liked the "news in slow" app before they were combined to this.

It's good that news in a few languages (if you can understand them) are all included in the same app. Compared with news in slow french, there are no non-free contents included here. But there are less (free) contents included. Also, it doesn't allow selecting/copying text.
