This routinely fails to connect with my Linka Leo lock, needing restarts about half the time. It is also impossible to share an original Linka with someone else. At some point, it started REQUIRING location for no reason at all. The latest version no longer even lists all my bikes at once and it is not possible to scroll through them wothout locking or unlocking any that are in range.

Thanks for the feedback. We will look into the location requirement. For ease of use, the app will connect automatically to the selected lock. To share access, make sure you are the owner of a lock, and open the users page to invite. Please reach out to us at support@linkalock.com if you are not the owner but require us to transfer ownership.

Ok, ywah I understand that but if you give the phone to a kid and it opens the app, it will also makes the lock openable. Basically what I am saying is tht BT has nowadays too long range for this. A lot of times people are going to eat or drink on their biking trail and they will be very often in range. If they forget to close the phone or someone else unknowingly opens the app the bikes are free for grab. It would be nice to have a setting in the app if I want to reconnect auto or manually.

Hi Martin, Thank you for the comment. When the LINKA app is active, it will automatically connect to the lock for ease-of-use. To disconnect, simply close the LINKA app or put it in the background. First time pairing the app with my new Linka (fully charged). Everything went fine and smooth until the firmware update. Now the device won't even turn on, it's totally dead and useless. Used 0 times, so I'm just gonna return it and buy something else. Quite a shame, because the technology sounded very promising and lock feels like good quality.
