About this game

Italian Checkers (Dama Italiana) is the classic board game played with the official Italian rules, against the computer whenever you like. Whether you're learning or an experienced player, there's always the right opponent for you.

📴 PLAY ANYWHERE, WITHOUT DISTRACTIONS
• Works offline: on the train, on a plane or with no signal
• No banner ads: while you play, the board is all yours
• Ads appear only between one game and the next, never during play, and at most one every 3 minutes

♟ OFFICIAL ITALIAN DRAUGHTS RULES
This is not standard international or English checkers: the app follows the official Italian draughts regulations, the same used in tournaments in Italy.
• Men cannot capture kings
• Capturing is mandatory
• Capture priority: take the most pieces, prefer capturing with a king, take the most kings, meet a king first
• Kings move one square in every direction
• Guided multiple captures, one jump at a time
• Draw after 40 moves per side without captures or man moves

🧠 5 DIFFICULTY LEVELS
From Beginner, perfect for learning the rules or for kids, to Expert, a real challenge even for seasoned players. Easier levels make natural, human-like mistakes.

💡 LEARN AS YOU PLAY
• Hints show which pieces can move and where
• If a move is not allowed, the app tells you why; when you must capture, it tells you which capture is mandatory and shows the pieces that must capture
• Undo your move and try again
• A page with all the rules, including how the clock works

⏱ PLAY WITH A CLOCK
No clock to play at your own pace, or blitz (3 min + 2 s per move), rapid (9 min + 6 s) and standard (30 min + 15 s), as in tournaments. The time runs only during your turn.

✨ SIMPLE AND POLISHED
• Wood, marble and stone boards, with several piece and background colors
• Smooth animations for moves and captures
• Games saved automatically: resume any time
• Play as White or Black
• Statistics of your games by level, color and time control
• Designed for phones and tablets

A traditional strategy game, relaxing and stimulating, to train your mind in just a few minutes. Download Italian Checkers and challenge the computer!
