Linostrobe requires the RECORD_AUDIO permission to access your phone's microphone. The audio is analyzed on the fly - nothing is actually recorded.

so wanted this to work as has a fabulous selection of temperaments, but, whatever settings I use for sensitivity the needle and strobe jump about like crazy!

Liked the free version enough to want the paid version. Best tuner app that I've found.
