As of Day one, and first time Lionel train owner, it works great. Connected almost immediately, once I realized there was a Bluetooth slot on the power switch. It does suck that the app doesn't save the train and I will need to reconnect it every time my kids want to watch it go, but it's only an extra 10 seconds.

Understandably a little buggy on it's first release but it has the potential of being a great app when they fix a couple of annoying bugs. First, the swipe down almost never works on my Google Pixel. Second, the steam blow down button does not activate the steam blow down sound. It throttles the engine to speed step 26, which rockets the engine down the track. This happened with 3 TMCC engines and a Lionchief plus bluetooth engine. Also the water full button does not activate water full sound.

I've had this since it came out. I had many issues in the beginning, mainly with losing connection. The latest update has fixed that. In fact, I haven't lost connection once since I did the last firmware update. I did discover that my phone interferes with my tablet. I have to turn off my Android phone's wifi or my tablet loses signal. The only thing that's annoying is my tablet won't auto connect even though it's set to do so.It connects everytime, I just have to do it manually.
