Honestly, HomeExchange is just better, especially if you're a collection member. I don't think it's reasonable to pay ¢40 per night just for the app (especially since they removed the cosmetic kits) + abnormal cleaning fees, which are 30-50% higher than they should be. Flexibility is also questionable, quite hard to organize late/early check-ins/outs. Quality of homes is now pretty similar to HE, so I don't see any benefits of using Kindred anymore comparing to HE.

Kindred concept is great, but the issues are poorly handled. The cleaners left the heating on for two weeks after the guest left & used the washing machine for all duvets & towels, then left everything hanging for me to repack, yet Kindred refused any reimbursement/ real compensation and hid behind internal policies about cleaners not touching thermostats & always leaving laundry to hang dry. The idea is promising, but when something goes wrong, customer support does not take responsibility.

Great concept and I love using Kindred's services but oh my the app usability is horrible! It's so not-intuitive and I find myself searching for messages and functions all the time. Hope they'll do a bit more on the UX side soon to improve the otherwise good experience
