Somewhat decent app, but I can't add devices because the button it off the top of the screen (should test more Android screen types), I can't use my normal email address to sign up because their regular expression evaluation is incorrectly implemented (see RFC 2822), and a gateway is required? I'm not reducing stars for that last one, but it's very inconvenient. Why can't we just use Wi-Fi? The app look/feel is above average, which I like.

Just BAD! I spent a lot of money to outfit the house I was building with these smart switches, unfortunately it doesn't work with Google Home although they claim it does (could not reach Livolo). The lag is horrible through the app! Basically money down the drain. Can't even replace them with something else because I can't find any others that fit into the same box. If they wouldn't use the damn proprietary hub it would be a million times better since the hardware does not seem that bad. AVOID

Very slow app, and the user experience is very bad. If you want to turn on, or off a switch, you have to wait for the app to load...then search for the switch, open it...wait for it to refresh, or click Again to refresh, then click Again to turn on/off. The old app was much more user friendly, and faster. Not to mention the new gateway has very poor coverage, and I cannot control my switches upstairs, if the gateway is downstairs. I do not recommend Livolo.
