How AceScreen Works
AceScreen tries to adapt to almost any situation in your daily life.
In automatic mode, the app intelligently prevents your device from going to sleep. AceScreen uses sensors and other available information to get the job done.
– The device is held in the hand. When the user holds the device in their hand, the app keeps the screen on.
– The device is tilted. When the phone or tablet is tilted, even slightly, the app still keeps the display awake! You also like to read while you eat, don't you?
– Never sleeping apps. Select the apps for which you want the screen to always stay on.
– The device is placed horizontally. If you place the device on a level surface and do not use it for a while, the screen will automatically turn off shortly.
– The device is charging or docked. For each dock type and charging mode, you can set an alternate rule.
Sometimes you may want the screen not to turn off under any circumstances. For such cases, there is a manual mode.

During those years, I often lectured. I used to take my notes for the upcoming lecture on my phone. But the same misfortune haunted me all the time. At the most inopportune moment of my lecture, in the place of my notes, I saw a black screen. That's why I fell in love with the idea of creating AceScreen to keep my phone's display on when I needed it. And I didn't notice how this newly created app became my good friend both at work and in everyday life.
AccessibilityService API
The user has an option to allow AceScreen to use the AccessibilityService API as the method to turn off the screen. AceScreen does not access, collect or transmit any data through the Accessibility Service API.

A bit getting used to setup but all point/click menu driven; easy to understand the 2nd time through. What I hate about my samsung s22. Phone fades to black whenever making a call no matter what display settings I use. Tap, tap, tap, uhhgh.This app allows for full time screen on, all the time, until you lay the phone FLAT with any home page open, then locks at your specified time frame. Basically, on when using it, locked when not. Great battery/time saver. ARE YOU LISTENING SAMSUNG. Brilliant!

Free version only operates in Manual mode & the mode restart is buried several menus deep. The briefest time to screen off is 10 seconds, not much different from android's 15 sec. If shorter time to screen off available in paid version, I would consider this app but until full use is available by free trial I can only conclude the app shows promise. Such a shame becuz I would pay if this was useful to me, but sadly cannot determine that without using automatic mode.

Looks promising, needed for Maps. Screen fading and auto off doesn't seem to work. My Android timeout is two minutes, and the app doesn't seem to be able to override it. I changed it to 15 sec, and that seems to give the app the priority to follow its set time. Realise that that only work when the app is open, and not when other apps are open and. I hold the device but screen turns off after 15 sec. My birthday release! First review!
