Chess is a two-player strategy board game played on a checkered board with 64 squares arranged in an 8×8 grid. Each player begins with 16 pieces: one king, one queen, two rooks, two knights, two bishops, and eight pawns. The objective is to checkmate the opponent's king by placing it under an inescapable threat of capture.

Ratings and reviews

Finding it extremely difficult to beat level 10. This is genuinely challenging chess for any 'average' player like me. Congrats to the programmers. I find level 10 at least as difficult as Stockfish 7 Lichess Android version. I also have experience against strong PC engines like Crafty and Toga. CanaryDroid 10 will leap on inaccurate endgame play like a cat on a rat. I hope other players agree. Finally beat level 10!! Now having fun with the top level. 11. Love this program!

it is a nice and impressive game but you cannot apply or play with someone other in your family or someone other that's why I gave the rating of 3 star but although fir me it doesn't feel the real and appropriate I think it should be more realistic and applicable in our real life it is good but not realistic and also not giving the feel of playing chess it doesn't gave me any feel of it. It always feel like there is someone who is sometimes gave the time to you win not to actually and thank you

All the same qualities that anyone should ask for. dynamic, dynamite gameplay and amazing sound. The exact kind of game any real chess player would play. two thumbs up.
