About this app

Loa is a closed-loop humanitarian aid distribution platform for approved vendors and authorized field teams. It turns an NFC-enabled Android phone or POS device into a simple, secure point of redemption: a beneficiary taps their Loa card, and approved purchases are recorded instantly.

Loa is operated by Bite & Brand UK and is intended for authorized vendors and field officers only. Accounts and cards are issued by the program operator. The value on each card is an aid entitlement that can be redeemed only at approved vendors using the Loa app — it is not transferable, cannot be withdrawn as cash, and is not a general-purpose payment method.
