Madegood is the snag list you carry.
Walk a job room by room, mark each defect at the exact place on the photograph you took of
it, and hand over one document that settles what was agreed on the day.
WHAT IT DOES
Every room, walked. The job is walked in the order you went round it, and each room keeps
what it is still waiting for.
Every snag, pinned on the photograph. Each snag is marked where it was seen, so whoever
fixes it knows where to stand.
Every snag, dated and owned. What is wrong, whose trade it is, when it was raised, and when
it was put right. Each one is Open, Re-check, Fixed or Not ours — so "not our problem" is on
the record too, in writing, on the day.
What is left open. The list reads back in the order you walked, so nothing is argued about
afterwards.
One pack, handed over. A single PDF with the rooms in order, every snag with its trade and
its dates, and every photograph with its marks on it.
THE PACK IS THE PAID PART
Walking a job, recording snags, pinning photographs and reading the list back are free, and
they stay free. The pack — the document that goes to somebody else — is the paid part:
either once, or by the year.
IT DOES NOT INVENT ANYTHING
Madegood records what you saw and what you decided. It is not a survey, an inspection, a
certification or an expert report. It gives no opinions and no scores: your trade and your
judgement go on the record, and the app's only job is to keep them in order.
NOTHING LEAVES THIS PHONE
Madegood holds no internet permission at all — not a promise, an absence. There is no
account, no sign-in, no sync, no analytics and no advertising. Jobs, photographs and notes
stay in the app's own private storage. The only thing that goes anywhere is a pack you choose
to save or send, and it goes where you choose. The app asks you for no permission of any
kind; the only entry in its manifest that is not its own is Google Play's billing marker,
which is how the pack is paid for.
TAKE IT ON SITE
No signal needed, because nothing is being fetched. A photograph is kept with the job even
if you later delete the original from your gallery. A finished job from a UK site is included
as an example you can read through — and delete whenever you like.
EIGHT LANGUAGES, FOUR LOOKS
English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish and Portuguese: it follows your
phone's language and can be set by hand. It starts in Hi-Vis; Concrete, Nightwork and Site
Stores come with the pack.
Payment is handled by Google Play. A yearly plan renews on its own until it is cancelled in
the Play Store.
Walk a job room by room, pin each snag on the photo, hand over the pack.
