About this app

Loan Jasoos is India's first community-powered private loan registry.

It is a record-keeping and verification platform for private loans between individuals — money you personally lent to a friend, family member, employee, or acquaintance. Record the loans you have given, and check a person's existing loan record history before you decide to lend to them.

Loan Jasoos is NOT a lender, NBFC, bank, or financial institution. We do not offer, provide, arrange, broker, or approve loans, and we never disburse money. We do not connect borrowers with lenders, do not accept loan applications, and do not make credit decisions. Every record on the platform describes a private loan that already took place between two individuals, submitted by the person who gave it.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Add Loan Record — document a private loan you gave: borrower details, amount, dates, repayment status, and supporting documents such as a loan agreement.
• Search the registry — look up a person by mobile number, PAN, or name to see whether loan records exist against them before you lend.
• Unlock record details — view the full details of a matching record, including repayment status (Active, Overdue, Paid, Closed) and verification status.
• Verification — our review team checks submitted records and documents. Every record carries a clear status: Verified, Verification Pending, or Not Verified.
• Track repayments — update a record as the borrower repays, through to Paid or Closed.
• Use it in your language — available in English, Hindi.

TRANSPARENT COIN PRICING

Loan Jasoos uses a simple prepaid coin wallet. You buy coin packs (100, 200, 300, or 650 coins) and spend coins on specific actions:

• Searching the registry — approximately Rs. 50 worth of coins per search.
• Adding a loan record — a fixed coin fee shown before you submit.
• Unlocking full record details — a fixed coin fee shown before you confirm.

Every price is displayed in the app before you spend, and coins are only ever spent when you confirm an action. Coins are service credits for using the registry; they are not money, deposits, investments, or any financial product, and they have no cash value.

WHO IT IS FOR

Private individuals and small business owners across India who lend money informally — to friends, relatives, staff, or customers — and want to (a) keep a verifiable record of what they lent, and (b) check whether a person already has unpaid private loans recorded against them before lending.

YOUR DATA AND ACCOUNT

• Your data is encrypted in transit and protected on our servers.
• You can delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app, or via https://loanjasoos.com/delete-account
• The information on Loan Jasoos is provided for informational purposes only. We do not provide financial, legal, or investment advice, and all lending decisions you make are your own.
