Founded in 2008 and launched in 2010, as an independent free weather and traffic reporting website, we've grown in popularity due to our simple format, no-nonsense weather data and easy access to traffic and road conditions. Years in the making, as our regular users will know, we are now finally able to offer this companion app that supports over 200k+ cities and towns, across the planet. We think we've continued the tradition by building a quick and concise weather and traffic reporting experience for mobile devices that our users have been requesting for years. Expanding on our main website, we hope this app will enable our loyal - and new users - access to local conditions across the world. A lot more information is available now, than on LocalConditions.com - which currently still focuses on the US. You will find detailed current weather reports with satellite cloud cover and precipitation radar; an express 48 hour-by-hour forecast view, but now with full information when pressing on a specific hour; a 10 day Forecast with an hourly view focusing on barometric pressure - meant for those who appreciate that about our website; Warning and Alerts; Past Weather for 10 days - but now with access to data from 2011 to current; and of course Traffic and Road conditions! I downloaded this because it advertised you could research past weather. The past weather function is painfully slow and you can only look at one day at a time. There is no reason you shouldn't at least be able to look up a week. Advertising a barely working feature seems incredibly misleading and skirting the line of honesty. Technically you can do it, but they make it unnecessarily difficult for you.

No ads! Opens immediately! Does not get bogged down like BIG weather apps which have become increasingly oppressive.
