The Historical Places of Italy are a non-profit cultural association that brings together the 230 oldest and most prestigious hotels, restaurants, confectioneries-confetteries-literary cafés protagonists of the history of Italy for the events of which they were promoters or headquarters and for the famous people who attended them.
The rooms must have at least seventy years of operation, preserved original environments and furnishings (or in any case that bear witness to the origins of the room), memorabilia, memories and historical documentation on the events and illustrious visits.
The Association, which enjoys the patronage of the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities, has for 42 years as its mission of valorization and protection.
