About this app

This app translates real-time speech into floating captions that appear directly above other apps on your Android phone.

While watching videos, attending meetings, listening to lectures, or engaging in everyday conversations, the app performs speech recognition and translation locally on your device. No account registration is required; the app itself does not request internet permissions, nor does it upload audio, recognized text, or translation results.

Key Features:

- Displays floating captions above other apps

- Microphone mode, suitable for meetings and speaker playback

- System audio mode, captures device playback sound after authorization by the Android system

- Speech recognition and translation both run locally on the device

- The first beta version supports Chinese, English, and Japanese input and target languages

Notes:

- Recognition and translation speed depends on device performance, ambient noise, and speech clarity.

- Upon initial installation from Google Play, approximately 1.4 GB of local model resources need to be downloaded from Google Play.

- System audio capture depends on your Android version and whether the playback app allows audio capture.
