About this app

Leave memories where they happen.

A note or a photo, left at an exact spot, a bench, a doorway, a corner of a park, and it stays there in augmented reality. Anyone you share it with has to walk to that spot to see it. Nothing arrives in a feed. You find things by being where they are.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Leave memories
Point your camera at a place and drop a text note or a photo. Drag, pinch and twist to position it until it sits exactly where you want. It is anchored to the real world, so it looks the same to the next person who stands there.

Choose who sees it
Every memory is private, friends-only, or public. Private memories are yours alone, and are removed after 30 days.

Explore
A map shows what is nearby. Walk to a pin to open what is waiting there.

Follow and connect
Follow people whose finds you like, send friend requests, leave comments and reactions. Report or block anything you would rather not see.

Build AR quiz games
Place questions around a neighbourhood, a campus or a museum and let people hunt them down. Share a game with a join code or a QR code. Play online with others, or take a pack offline and play without a connection.

BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD

Loci needs your camera and your precise location. It is an augmented reality app anchored to exact spots, and it cannot work without them.

Loci is for ages 13 and up.

Content is tied to physical places, so if nothing has been left near you yet, your map will be empty until you or someone else puts something there.

Available in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Turkish, Russian, Arabic, Indonesian and Malay.
