About this app

KkokKkok Album is a simple and lightweight photo viewer designed to safely display photos to babies.

Once parents set the albums and viewing time limits, the baby cannot touch any other screens. It does not exit to the Gallery, Settings, or other apps, is ad-free, and photos are not transmitted outside the device.

■ Key Features

• Select Album — Parents choose only the albums to display from the various albums in the Gallery. It is safe to keep daily photos and family photos separate.

• Viewing Time Limit — Choose from unlimited, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, or 30 minutes. When the time runs out, a "Time is up" screen is automatically displayed, and there is no way to view the photos again.

• Pinch Zoom Grid — Use two fingers to zoom in and out to display more or fewer photos on a single screen. Once set by the parent, the time limit is remembered for subsequent launches.

• Smooth Full-Screen View — View photos by swiping left and right. Double-tap, pinch, and the Home key are disabled to prevent the baby from accidentally navigating to other areas. In full-screen mode, the system back gesture allows you to return immediately to the Gallery.

• Parental Control Exit — On the Gallery screen, pressing the Volume Up and Volume Down keys simultaneously for 2 seconds returns you to the Settings screen. Alternatively, pressing and holding the top-left and top-right corners simultaneously for 5 seconds also enters Settings. It is difficult for a baby to accidentally perform both actions.

• Screen Pin Guide — Enabling the built-in Android feature "Screen Pin (App Pin)" blocks notifications and the Home key. We recommend enabling this in Settings → Security before use.

■ Privacy

• Photos are processed only within the device. They are never transmitted to external servers.

• Contains no advertisements, analytics, or tracking SDKs.

• The only permission required is access to photos.

■ Caution

• Please personally demonstrate the first Parental Control Exit action immediately after the child starts touching the device.

• The name for "Screen Pin" varies by manufacturer (Samsung = App Pin, MIUI/OPPO = Screen Pin, etc.). Please search for the activation location in the Settings screen.

• Android 9 or higher is recommended. Photos in HEIC/HEIF format display more stably on Android 9 or higher.

■ Creator

This app was created by a father and IT engineer to show his own baby. It has been released without any ad revenue or data collection, with the hope that it will be helpful to parents who share similar concerns. Feedback and bug reports are welcome.
