Having the same issue others have reported. After opening a file, app then crashes a few seconds later. Says the Safeguard Viewer closed because this app has a bug. I've tried it with multiple PDC files and each one crashes the app. Says I need to update the app after the developer fixes it. I've tried re-registering the key, removing keystore, and uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail.

Reopening books causes freezes e.g, null receiver I have two devices and it occurred on both. Memory is not an issue. The certificate is active as well. Was trying to read offline when it happened Update: A trick that works is putting my device on airplane mode before opening the file. I purchased the file from CIPS so I can't start an optimisation process. Thanks for the response though.

08/07/2021 - Our updated Viewer has been released with a fix for this issue. Please update. It also has a new interface, is 64 bit, enables you to upload multiple files and supports annotations.

I had to use this of a "pdc " or something like that file of a protected ebook. Dowloading the content and opening a license is fine. BUT READING IT on this app. Is a nightmare. Jumpy touch interface. Very limited options. Weird pop ups from up and downs. Makes it really hard. Sorry two stars.

Are you flick-scrolling through a document, touching the screen while the doc is still scrolling? This will do a kind of "whiplash" effect, especially if you change scrolling directions quickly because documents are decrypted/loaded into memory before being rendered. If you scroll normally then it won't exhibit this behaviour.
