Hippo Dash takes the simple idea of a maze crawl and turns it into a colorful test of nerve and planning. You control a hungry hippo winding through twisting corridors, scooping up marbles along the way. Every marble you collect joins a trail behind your hippo, and that trail keeps growing with each pickup.

The tricky part is keeping that ever-lengthening tail out of your own way. As it snakes through the maze right behind you, one careless turn into your trail brings your run to a halt. Every corner needs a plan, and every loop through the maze means thinking a few steps ahead before committing to a direction.

Color matters as much as caution. Each level asks you to sort marbles by matching them to the correct drop point, so you will constantly be weaving, backtracking, and rerouting while your tail stretches longer behind you. It is a satisfying blend of quick reflexes and careful strategy, and it only gets more interesting as the mazes grow more elaborate and the marble colors multiply.
