About this app

Locksure is the companion app for Locksure door monitors - small sensors that fit to your existing door lock and tell you whether the door is actually locked.

LOCKSURE HARDWARE IS REQUIRED. This app does not monitor anything on its own. It displays and controls Locksure Lock Monitors, which you fit to your own doors. Monitors and hubs are available from locksure.co.uk.

WHAT THE APP DOES

• Shows whether each door is locked or unlocked, updated live
• Sends a notification every time a door is locked, unlocked, opened or closed
• Keeps a full history of every door operation, with date, time and battery level
• Lets you share a door with family, tenants or carers so they see the same live status
• Shows battery level for each monitor and lets you switch a monitor to High Performance mode
• Lets you rename doors, reorder them, and set which appear first
• Updates monitor and hub firmware over the air

LEFT-HOME ALERT

Optionally set a home location. If you leave that area while a door is still unlocked, the app notifies you. This uses a GPS geofence around your home and works while the app is closed. Location data stays on your device.

KEY TURN AND THUMB TURN MONITORS

Locksure monitors the lock itself rather than the door. A Key Turn Monitor detects the lock being turned from either side, so you can tell whether it was locked from inside or outside. A Thumb Turn Monitor suits doors that lock from one side only.

WORKS WITH MATTER

Locksure Matter monitors pair directly with Google Home, Apple Home, Alexa, SmartThings, Home Assistant or any Matter controller. No bridge required. An optional Locksure Matter Hub adds shared access for multiple users, offline event history and a wall display.

WITH OR WITHOUT A HUB

Use a Locksure hub for shared access, offline history and a wall display, or run the app hub-free directly from your phone. Both are supported.
