About this app

Locus C-Fabit is a perceptual mapping tool for the territory, developed as part of the C-Fabit project for students at academies and universities in Eastern Sicily.

Every place you map becomes a Locus: a point on the map associated with a film genre, an atmosphere, or a feeling.

Over time, the Locus accumulate and build a visual archive of the territory, becoming a resource for those looking for the right place to tell a story.

What you can do with Locus C-Fabit:

- Explore the map and discover Locuses already added by those who have lived there before you.
- Add new spots with photos, location, and information about the place.
- Associate a film genre and an emotion with what you've photographed.
- Filter the Locuses by genre, atmosphere, and feeling.
- Save your favorite Locuses.

Locus C-Fabit is reserved for students of the Academy of Fine Arts of Catania and institutions participating in the project.
