About this app

Logbook Supervisor is the Logbook Digital app for those who evaluate: supervisors, field preceptors, and professors. In one place, you approve student attendance records, respond to evaluations requested by them, and record your own field attendance—even when there is no internet signal at the work site.

WHAT YOU DO IN THE APP

• Attendance approval: view student requests under your supervision and approve or reject them with just a few taps.

• Evaluations: respond to evaluation forms sent by students directly from your cell phone.

Field attendance record: register check-in and check-out of your shift with confirmation photo and location.

• Notification center: complete history of what you've received, with unread filter.

Shift monitoring: shift timer always visible.

FIELD ACCESS RECORDING THAT WORKS WITHOUT INTERNET

Hospital, basic unit, rural area: signal strength doesn't always reach the field. Therefore, the time clock entry is first saved on the device itself and sent to the system as soon as the connection returns—automatically, without you needing to remember.

The Synchronization tab shows everything that is still in the queue and allows you to manually resend it whenever you want. An open shift remains open even if the app is closed or the phone restarts, so you never miss your start time.

SHIFT TIMER ON THE LOCK SCREEN

While your shift is in progress, the elapsed time appears on the Lock Screen and in Dynamic Island via a Live Activity. Just one tap is enough to return to the app and end the time clock entry—without having to search for the app among the others.

TIMELY NOTIFICATIONS

You receive an alert when a student requests attendance approval or sends an evaluation for you to answer. By tapping the notification, the app opens exactly to the corresponding screen. Everything is recorded in the Notification Center, for you to consult later at your leisure.

• Light and dark themes, matching your iPhone's settings.

• Direct interface, designed for quick use between appointments.

• Login by institution, with separate profiles for teachers and supervisors/preceptors.

ACCESS

Logbook Supervisor is an institutional application. To use it, you need to have an active registration as a supervisor, preceptor, or teacher at an educational institution that uses the Logbook Digital platform. Access is via credentials provided by your institution; there is no public registration within the app.

PRIVACY

The camera is only used for the confirmation photo of the time clock registration, and the location is only used to record where the check-in and check-out were done. Neither is accessed in the background or outside of these times, and permissions are only requested when you use the feature for the first time.
