We1Win's Space Invaders includes a shield powerup dropped by killed aliens that temporarily surrounds the player gun with a personal protective field blocking incoming alien shots.

Unlike the physical barrier shields above the player, this powerup shield is time-limited and follows the player gun's horizontal position as it moves left and right.

Shield powerup becomes the highest-value pickup when all four physical barriers have been destroyed, restoring a window of defensive coverage that would otherwise be completely gone.

With the shield active, the player can hold a fixed aiming position without dodging incoming shots, improving targeting precision during the powerup's limited active duration.

Space Invaders is offline and requires no registration; powerup drops are generated locally during each wave.
