About this game

LogiVale is a factory game with the pressure taken out. Nothing attacks you, nothing is on a timer, and the valley isn't going anywhere. It's just you, a procedurally generated landscape, and however long you feel like spending on it.

You'll start with an extractor sitting on a resource patch and a smelter next to it. Connect the two with a supply link and a pawn walks over, picks up the ore and carries it across. Your first ingot comes out a moment later. From there it starts pulling on itself: the smelter needs a steadier ore supply, the next recipe needs the smelter, and before long the valley is full of little routes that all depend on each other.

Ore becomes ingots. Ingots become plates, rods and wire. Those feed into motors, circuits and frames. Unlocking one recipe usually puts two more within reach, and the chain runs all the way from charcoal up to advanced motors and upgrade modules.

There are no conveyor belts in LogiVale. Items move because pawns carry them. You get four kinds of workers: a reliable all-rounder, a fast one, a hauler that takes bigger loads, and drones that fly over water and cliffs. It is up to you to work out the most efficient routes.

Power needs looking after too. Wood burners and coal generators will cover you early on. Wind turbines are the interesting ones: stick them on an exposed hilltop and they'll do well, though their output drifts up and down as the wind changes through the day.

The valley is generated fresh each time, with forests, grasslands, deserts and rocky highlands that all hold different resources. Fog covers everything past your starting area, and scouts are how you lift it: send them out and they'll wander off to map the terrain and show you what's there. Scanners are a separate matter. Some deposits sit too deep to see at all, even on ground you've already explored, and a scanner is the only thing that will turn them up.

The research lab asks for materials, you deliver them, and it hands back something new. That's how you get advanced buildings, extra pawn types, terraforming and high voltage power lines. There are four tiers of it, and each one changes how you build.

Send finished goods to the marketplace and you'll earn prosperity and hit new milestones. The settlements dotted around the valley grow from small camps into proper towns as their orders get filled, and they start asking for more interesting things as they do.

Later on you can craft modules and deliver them to a Boost Antenna, which passes the effect on to everything built nearby. There are three types (faster extraction and crafting, more power, quicker pawns with bigger loads) and three tiers of each, so there's still something to chase long after your first supply chain is running on its own.

The free version contains the full basic game without limitations. For a small price you can gain access to some "cheats", like no costs, no power, reveal map and instant build. It also gives you access to a custom world builder.
