Just needs to run a little faster. There is always a hesitation when flipping pages. Using the scroll page function now. The app is awesome and a great tool for in-depth studying of God's word anytime, anywhere. My only complaint is the app can't be moved to an SD CARD and run from there.
The app is fine, but not great. I enjoy having access to my logos library (I have a silver package). However, it does not sync my notes and highlights well. I find it difficult to use the split screen feature. Getting a commentary for example in the split screen is not intuitive. This app has a lot of potential but is frustrating to use. I generally use other apps for reading and use logos occasionally for word search and reading commentaries.
To be able to use the features as listed and defined on the Google Play Logos android app, you have to own a Logos desktop version and sync your phone or tablet with your desktop. As a stand alone device, your phone or tablet, let's say in word study mode, will not display the original language lemma or morphology no matter how much you tap and hold a word according to the features guide. The text comparison tool is of little value since you cannot on your mobile choose the Bibles you would like to compare. The app randomly chooses Bibles for you without a sync. As a stand alone app, Logos Bible Software, I feel, is geared towards high school and college students or adults looking for a platform of tools that will help them in their Bible studies. For this group I would give it a four star rating. For scholars who are using the original languages and have the lexicons, commentaries, and libraries at hand already I would give the Logos Mobile Software a three star rating. If it were not for the speed of wi-fi in looking up Bible verses and the 70 excellent additions to my library upon registering your mobile account, it would be a two star rating.
Newest update has a major glitch. If your reading plan for the day concludes at the end of a bible book the link that normally appears at the end to take you to the next reading is missing and you have to manually go to it. The link will appear if your reading concludes at the end of a chapter or a verse break, just not at a book break. Please fix.
Been using every version of logos since 1998. And every time I think it can't get any better they prove me wrong. This android app rocks. Have access to the same library I have been building on for 14 years. I keep up the good work.
Everytime this app updates it wipes out my favorite verses page. Answer to Logos response is: I just did report it. Do your job and fix it. There is a stored verses list. It is called "favorites". Wipes out at every app update. You should be able to trace the logic in your source code without trace logs. Besides, we cannot re-create your app update. Do your job. This program is already incredibly expensive.
