About this app

RidePool connects people who are already travelling the same way, so drivers can fill empty seats and passengers get an affordable, comfortable ride between cities.

FREE TO BOOK
Booking a seat is free. You pay the driver your share of the trip cost directly, in cash or by UPI. No wallet, no card details, no hidden fees.

FOR PASSENGERS
- Find rides by route and date
- See the driver, vehicle, seats and price before you book
- Get notified when the driver accepts your request
- Call your driver once your booking is confirmed
- A START OTP confirms you are getting into the right car

FOR DRIVERS
- Publish a trip you are already making in a few taps
- Accept or decline seat requests
- Start each passenger's trip with their PIN at pickup
- Collect the cost-share directly from passengers

SAFETY FIRST
- SOS: call the emergency number (112) in one tap
- Alert your trusted contacts with your location by WhatsApp, SMS or email
- Live trip sharing: send a link so family can follow your trip on a map
- Verified badges after identity and vehicle review
- Community guidelines and in-app reporting

FAIR AND LEGAL CARPOOLING
RidePool is for sharing costs on trips you are making anyway, not for running a taxi service. Two-wheelers carry at most one pillion passenger, as required by the Motor Vehicles Act.

YOUR DATA, YOUR CONTROL
Location is used only while the app is open or while you choose to share a trip. Delete your account and data any time from your profile.
