The Radis is the currency of the Geneva Food Fund (Calim). Calim is an initiative of several associations, led by the Movement for Peasant and Citizen Agriculture (MAPC), which works in the Canton of Geneva to promote healthy, inclusive food, and respect environmental, social, and local criteria.
Contributors pay a monthly fee based on their means and the number of people living in their household. In return, all contributors receive the same amount in a currency called "Le Radis," which can only be used at points of sale approved by CALIM.
Le Radis is an application produced by the Lokavaluto Association, of which Monnaie Léman is a co-founder and co-manager.
