Track your mortgage the way it actually works in Canada.

Most mortgage calculators are American. They compound monthly, ignore prepayment privileges, and have no idea what a trigger rate is. LOONIELODGE is built for Canadian mortgages, and the difference shows up in the numbers.

WHAT IT DOES

• Your balance today, and the projection to payoff — computed with semi-annual compounding, the Canadian convention, not the monthly one.

• Prepayment room, tracked properly. Lump-sum and payment-increase privileges are separate budgets on most Canadian mortgages, they reset on the mortgage anniversary rather than in January, and the percentage applies to a base your lender chose. The app knows which model your mortgage uses and shows what is left.

• Trigger-rate warnings for variable-rate mortgages, so you find out before your payment stops covering interest.

• Renewal countdowns, at the distances that matter — a term ending in six months is a different conversation from one ending in three weeks.

• Payments and prepayments you log yourself, reconciled against the schedule, so you can see where your mortgage really is versus where the plan said it would be.

• An affordability and stress-test calculator that applies the federal qualifying rate, insurance premiums and the GDS/TDS ratios lenders actually use. It runs entirely on your phone.

You can close your account from inside the app, and everything on it goes with you.
