About this game

That pen on your desk? It's not just a pen. It's The Quill of Severed Oaths — an enchanted relic that once belonged to a scribe who wrote contracts for the dead. Effect: +3 to Deception. Curse: All signatures made with it are binding in two worlds.

Lore Codex transforms the mundane objects around you into dramatic, fully-formed artifacts — complete with names, lore, type, effects, and the occasional curse.

Four Lore Modes:

✦ Fantasia — Enchanted relics from realms below, dripping with arcane history
◈ Cosmographic — Clinical post-collapse tech with unsettling bureaucratic precision
✕ Anomalous — Quiet, understated horror. It remembers everyone who held it.
✧ Adventurer's — Full tabletop RPG stats, because everything deserves a stat block

How It Works:
Type in what you're holding, or point your camera at it and let the app identify it. Lore Codex matches your object against a built-in archive for instant offline results — or connects to the Claude AI for a freshly generated entry every time.

Build Your Codex:
Save your favorite artifacts to your personal Cabinet and revisit them anytime. Every object you've ever catalogued, right in your pocket.

Share the Legend:
Generate a shareable lore card for any artifact and send it to someone who needs to know that their coffee mug is, in fact, a Vessel of Eternal Restlessness (Anomalous — Disturbing).

Lore Codex works offline using its built-in archive. AI-powered generation requires an Anthropic API key, configurable in Settings.
Discover the Hidden Lore of Mundane Objects. Four lore modes. Infinite wonder.
