What is wrong with this app. I can't login and it keeps saying something about I'm running a def key and sends me to some website

Well, I was asked over and over if I had the app, I'm a faithful Keith's customer. Even have some Kitrells in my family. Finally downloaded the app, entered in my information and the first time I tried to use it (Petal on Main St.) I was told I was entering the wrong number. Come to find out they thought I was trying to use a "Marathon Gas" reward number. They kept saying, "In it to win it." Or something along those lines. I didn't know there were multiple rewards. Why would you promote that?
