App is very slow, and I constantly get the message that it is not responding and UI asks me to wait or close it. It's so frequent it's stopping me from even doing a simple word search in an xml file.

sadly I was looking for an editor that allowed the user to start with a blank page or even xml code in a txt file created in Notepad on a pc. This isn't it
