DNSpect is a powerful dual‑purpose DNS tool for network engineers, penetration testers, and IT professionals. It combines a full DNS inspector with a deliberate zone transfer (AXFR) tester in one clean, premium app.

• Instant DNS Lookup via DNS‑over‑HTTPS – Resolve A, AAAA, MX, NS, SOA, TXT, CNAME, and more from multiple trusted resolvers (Cloudflare, Google, Quad9). Results are color‑coded, grouped, and shareable.

• Zone Transfer (AXFR) Tester – Attempt a TCP AXFR query against a domain’s authoritative nameservers to detect misconfigurations. Full zone data is displayed only if the transfer succeeds. This feature requires an explicit user confirmation that you own or have written permission to test the target – safety and ethics come first.

• Beautiful, Informative UI – Record types are highlighted with distinct colors; TXT records automatically parse SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. A typewriter effect reveals AXFR results, and an integrity summary shows key findings at a glance.

• History & Favourites – All lookups and tests are saved locally (encrypted) for offline access. Star important domains, compare results, and export your data as CSV or JSON.

• DNSSEC Validation – Visual shield indicators show DNSSEC status (secure, unsigned, or bogus) with plain‑language explanations.

SAFETY & COMPLIANCE
The zone transfer feature is an active security test. Every attempt is preceded by a mandatory authorization gate that requires you to confirm your legal right to test the target. This app must only be used on infrastructure you own or are explicitly authorized to assess. Misuse may violate laws. DNSpect logs your authorisation attestation locally for your records.
