Dog Food Notebook is a monitoring app that allows you to easily record your dog's "amount eaten" and "weight changes" every day.

It was created from the experience of living with Lua, a rescue dog with picky eating habits.

Enter the food eaten and the amount in grams, and the app will automatically calculate the calories consumed. Since days when your dog doesn't eat are recorded as 0g, even variations in eating habits become an important record.

[Review Food Intake on a Weekly Basis]
You can check not only daily figures but also your progress towards your weekly calorie target. This allows you to monitor your dog's daily food intake over a slightly longer period.

[Record Weight Changes]
You can record your dog's weight along with the date. Even the free version allows you to review calorie intake and weight changes over the past 30 days in a graph. The premium version also offers a yearly view.

[Note Medication and Vaccinations]
You can record daily medications and vaccinations with the same easy-to-understand operation as food entries.

[Organize Records into Easy-to-View Sheets]
You can save and share care details, calorie intake, and weight records in PDF/PNG format.

This is useful when you want to show your dog's records to family members or pet sitters, or when reviewing during vet visits.

The shared file reflects the content at the time of output. Changes made to the app's records after output will not be automatically reflected in already shared files.

■ The Inspiration for Development

Living with Lua, a rescue dog with picky eating habits, I was constantly noting down things like, "How many grams did she eat yesterday?" and "Is she getting enough calories?"


The Dog Food Notebook is a simplified and easy-to-use version of that memo.

It's not multi-functional.

But its main focus is on being easy to use daily and allowing you to monitor small changes in your beloved dog.


■ Important Notes

This app is for recording your dog's food intake, calories, weight, etc. It is not intended for diagnosing illnesses, treating illnesses, prescribing medication, or making nutritional management decisions.

If your dog experiences persistent loss of appetite, weight loss, or other health problems, do not rely solely on the records; always consult a veterinarian.


The records you enter for your dog are saved on your device and are not received or stored on the developer's server. Depending on your device and account settings, they may be included in automatic OS backups or inter-device transfers.

Please create a manual backup before changing devices or reinstalling the app. Backup files and PDF/PNGs will only be shared to the destination selected by the user in the OS sharing screen.
