Experience a new kind of multiplayer game with Run, Catch, Repeat in your real-world environment โ dynamic, tactical, and thrilling. Whether with friends or against strangers: Who will escape? Who will catch? Who will win?
๐ฎ How Run, Catch, Repeat Works
1. Preparation โ The Lobby Phase
A minimum of two players is enough โ all you need is a smartphone and the urge to move.
One player creates a lobby and selects:
A destination deck featuring real-world locations.
A task deck filled with exciting challenges.
An ability deck: Play with tactical advantages and sneaky tricks!
The ability distribution mode: Random or via a strategic pick phase.
The GPS interval: Decide how often locations are shared.
Other players join using a lobby code and choose their role: Runner or Catcher. As soon as everyone is ready, the game begins.
2. Game Start โ The Hunt Begins
The Runner gets three random destinations โ A, B, and C โ and starts with 3 coins. The Catchers have nothingโฆ except ambition.
Now itโs time to move smartly, reach destinations, complete tasks, and avoid getting caught.
3. Gameplay โ Live Through the City
Reaching destinations: The Runner must take proof photos and complete one task per destination.
The Chase: The Catchers receive the Runner's last known location (with a 10-minute delay by default). Conversely, the Runner gets the Catchers' last position every 60 minutes.
Tasks: Both teams can voluntarily draw tasks to earn coins.
Abilities: Coins can be exchanged for special abilities โ e.g., "Live Location", "No Transport", "Trail Tower", and many more.
Transport: Getting on a bus, train, or bike must be reported โ for fairness and strategic depth.
4. Final Phase โ All or Nothing
Once the Runner reaches the final destination, the showdown begins:
Live locations are revealed.
The Runner must complete one final task.
The Catcher has to catch them RIGHT NOW.
