About this app

LumaLeaf helps houseplant owners turn a quick light reading into a clear care action.

Measure the actual spot where your plant lives, save the reading, and link it to a plant profile. LumaLeaf compares the lux value with a local 500-plant catalog, recommends plants that can fit the spot, and keeps history so you can see what changed over time.

What you can do:
- Measure plant light in lux with your phone sensor
- Save a window, shelf, room, or grow-light spot
- Link a reading to an existing plant profile
- Add recommended plants from the measurement result
- Search a 500-entry offline plant catalog, including common flowers, foliage plants, succulents, cacti, herbs, palms, ferns, orchids, and aquatic plants
- Use Plant Doctor questions with recent lux context for simple care guidance
- Review weekly light insights by plant and location
- Use optional reminders, widgets, dark mode, multiple languages, ads, and Premium care reports

Good for:
- Checking whether a window, shelf, desk, or room is bright enough
- Comparing light before moving a plant
- Starting with common plants such as pothos, monstera, snake plant, ZZ plant, daisy, rose, hydrangea, basil, succulents, and cacti
- Keeping a light history instead of guessing from memory

Notes:
- Phone light sensors vary by device, angle, and environment.
- LumaLeaf provides home plant care guidance, not expert crop assessment or laboratory-grade PPFD/DLI measurement.
- Plant Doctor results are informational and do not replace expert plant pathology, pest control, or horticulture advice.
- Camera and notification permissions are requested only when you choose features that need them.
