About this app

LumaRead is a visual translator designed for those who read manga, manhwa, webtoons, digital books, prints, and pages in other languages.

Instead of turning reading into a confusing process, LumaRead maintains the visual experience: you start translating, the app detects visible text and displays translated blocks over the content, preserving the page's position and context.

Use it to:

- translate visible text on the screen with Android permission;

- read pages in the browser with a discreet floating bubble;

- import images and screenshots from the gallery;

- adjust opacity, size, contrast, and position of the blocks;

- translate from English, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, French, German, and Italian;

- read with the main destination in Brazilian Portuguese;

- save image translations to the local history.

LumaRead was designed for visual reading: speech bubbles, panels, long pages, and small texts are easier to follow when the translation appears in the right place.

Privacy and Responsible Use:

- The app does not offer a public library of manga, manhwa, or third-party works;

- The app does not download, distribute, or share protected content;

- Users should only use LumaRead for content they have permission to view;

- Translation uses local resources and device templates when available.

Reading and translation quality may vary depending on language, font, text size, image sharpness, and available device templates.
