WHY CHILDREN LIKE IT
Lumo is a firefly who never judges. A wrong answer isn't a red cross or a buzzer — the glow just dims, and Lumo says "not quite, let's look again together." No score ever counts down. No countdown timers on your child's screen. Effort is what gets celebrated: stars, streaks, coins and badges for turning up, not for being perfect.

FINDS THE RIGHT LEVEL, THEN GROWS
A short, friendly check places your child at the right starting point. Every session adapts: questions ease off after a wobble, stretch after a good run, and tricky ones come back a few days later so they actually stick.

WHAT'S INSIDE
• Maths — counting, place value, times tables, fractions, decimals, money, time, shape, measures, data and word problems
• English — phonics, spelling, grammar, punctuation, vocabulary, reading comprehension and inference
• 11+ reasoning — verbal and non-verbal reasoning, problem solving, timed practice papers and a full mock
• Reception to Year 6, with hundreds of skills and questions that are generated fresh, so practice doesn't run out or repeat
• Read-aloud audio on every question for younger and developing readers
• Daily challenge, speed round, and a review queue for past mistakes

FOR GROWN-UPS
A parent area (behind a grown-up gate or your own PIN) shows each child's level, their weak spots and what's due for review. Add several children, switch between them in a tap, and set a daily goal that fits your family. Sign in with Google only if you want progress backed up across devices — everything works fully offline without an account.

DYSLEXIA-FRIENDLY
One toggle switches the whole app to a more readable typeface with looser letter spacing. Reading passages already use generous line height.

PRIVACY, PLAINLY
We collect as little as possible. Without a sign-in, nothing leaves your device. If a parent does sign in, we store their email and each child's first name, year group and progress — nothing else. No advertising, no third-party analytics, no trackers, no selling data, ever.
